Raymond is:


– A graduate of Electronics and Communications Engineering. He took up ECE at what used to be known as Mapua Institute of Technology. Now the new owners named the institution after its insurance company then named its “College of Engineering and Architecture” as MIT…. oh darn. He is a licensed ECE with license number 11817. The Republic Act 9292, the “Electronics Engineering Law” of the Republic of the Philippines, renamed the ECE as simply “Electronics Engineer”. He is still working to convert his ECE license into Electronics Engineer License.


– An MBA Candidate lacking only the Strategic Management paper to complete the degree. He has completed the academic schooling prescribed in the Ateneo – Regis MBA curriculum at the Ateneo de Manila University – Rockwell Campus.


– A Telecommunications Engineer having started his career as trainee at ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation (Engineering Planning and Broadcast Research Section), then as Junior Engineer at the now defunct Infocom Communications Network, Inc. (then the operator of the pager, Infopage), then as Project Engineer of a Wireless Local Loop supplier Krone – Q-Telecell- Sphairon, then as Handset and SIM card Manager of Globe Telecoms, then also as Handset and SIM Card Manager of Connectivity Unlimited Resource Enterprise, Inc (CURE, now owned by Smart), and now, as Technical Pre-Sales of Telecoms Value Added Services provider, Telogic. – now a part time Professional Lecturer at the Center for Continuing Education and Special Competencies Department of Mapua Institute of Technology handling Project Management with emphasis on Primavera Project Management Software course. He used to be a full time faculty member of the School of EE-ECE-CoE also of the Mapua Institute of Technology where he used to handle courses like Project Feasibility Study, Engineering Management, Engineering Economics and Accounting, Probability and Statistics, Electronics Laboratoryand Methods of Research subjects.


– An adviser of the Mapua Institute of Technology Electronics & Communications and Computer Engineering Alumni Association (MITECCEAA), Inc. where he used to be the association’s president (MITECCEAA year 2002-2003).  He has also served as a Director of the National Association of Mapua Alumni Inc. (NAMA) during NAMA year 2003 – 2004 and 2004 – 2005.


– A fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Tambo Council 6167 based in St. Joseph Parish in Tambo, Paranaque City. Currently serving as this council’s Deputy Grand Knight and Program Director. He used to serve as the Council’s Treasurer and Financial Secretary. As fourth degree member, he is also part of the Padre Pedro M. Dandan Assembly of the fourth degree ACN 0991, based in the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Paranaque City. I am currently serving the Faithful Pilot of this Assembly, a position I held since last Columbian Year, 2007-2008.


– A member of the Tambo Youth Circle Choir as bass singer. The TYC choir serve during the 6 PM Sunday masses at the St. Joseph Parish. During Holy Week, the TYC Production stages “Kalbaryo ni Kristo” along the streets of Barangay Tambo. I play the part of “Pontius Pilate”.


– A member (on leave) of the Lectors and Commentators Guild of the St Joseph Parish.


– The eldest son of Engr. Renato (Factor) de Leon and Gracia (Alcantara – Garcia) de Leon. His siblings are Richard (35), Rexel (32), Ryan (31) and Graciela (26). He is still single at the age of 36.
